What To Do When You Get Pulled Over By The Police

Every driver will inevitably end up in this situation at some point in their lifetime. It is good to know what to do in this case so you are not more stressed out than you need to be. Here are some helpful tips on what to do when a police officer pulls you over.

Safely pull to the side of the road, or into a parking lot or side street if available. Turn off your car and roll down the window. Some believe turning on your hazard lights is good practice and may improve your chances of making a better impression on the officer. Always keep your hands visible and don't make any sudden moves or argue with the officer. "Anything you say or do" will make your case harder to fight, so save your energy for traffic court.
